The ‘Audi Charging Hubs’ or ‘Porsche Charging Lounges’ are examples of how OEM are introducing and growing their own branded charging networks in Central Europe. While this development is new to the European Charging Market, China – as the clear leader in electric mobility today – is also setting a good example in this case.
The expansion of charging infrastructure is crucial to enable a fast electrification of the vehicle fleet. In this race towards electrification also OEM branded charging networks play an increasingly important role.
